Look at strong emphasis of these words. Gave, laid down, the effectiveness of these words lies in how it was done. I've tried to dissect the most important ingredient that can cause the effectiveness to bring a person to realisation and a change of heart and mind. It cannot be done, and with an overwhelming unfortunate decision I had to succumb to the agreement that, by this we know love.

By this,.. by what?!! I ask. Is this the only Way? Isn't there any other Way? Here I'm bombarded with so many solutions and answers, and you tell me that, that's the only Way. You must be kidding me.
You say we will surely know love by this? OK, OK, OK? Let's agree to disagree, I'm sure, It don't mean to give everything, I can lay down part of what's mine.

As God gave and Jesus laid down His life for us, Oh the excruciating pain, the denial 'crow's' of the rooster, the wounds inflicted to His body, the hanging on the cross, the burying of His body.

Who bore insults, beatings, back-biting, and eventually the crucifixion to show His love. He ask that we do the same. We too are to be willing to bear pain in the process of loving others. With the love of God poured in our hearts we can ask God for the grace and guidance to love as Jesus loved
Get to know the beauty of love, the love of God. Let it saturate our hearts.
