4 Key Characteristic Aspects of Son-ship of the Heavenly Father.

by ~Romeo Mannel ~

But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you,
Matthew 5 [NKJV]
Four key characteristic aspects of son-ship of the heavenly Father ( Whose your Daddy?)
1) Love your enemies: (Learning to Love)
Loving those who do not love you. Christ's love is the kind of love that love people when they have no ability to love. Consider the creator's love for us and what we can do to repay Him--not much. He said that our love for Him is often shown when we love those who do not deserve it, those who have wronged us, and those who are unlovable. This kind of love seperates us from the self - serving attitudes of the world. This is that one thing that makes us different from the people of the world.
2)Bless those who curse you:
The word bless; Eulogeo (yoo-log-eh-oh):To speak well of, praise, extol, bless abundantly, invoke a benediction, give thanks. Eulogeo comes from the Greek word eu, "well" or "good," and logos, "speech" or "word." Eulogeo can be from men to men, from men to God, from God to men.When God blesses men, He grants them favour and confers Happiness upon them.Believers in Jesus Christ have the power to bless others. This power of blessing is more than just words. It can release God favour,Spirit, abundance, health, peace and prosperity on people. To bless others is to release God's power on them and allow Him to make any necessary changes in their lives. This will even work on your behalf, as you bless others (especially your enemy) there's a reverberating power that enforces Gods favor on your life. Like the the scripture says,"it is more blessed to give than to receive." Acts 20 vs.35
3)Do good to those who hate you:
Romans 12 vs.19-21
19) Beloved,do not avenge yourself, but rather give place to wrath;for it is written, "Vengeance is Mine, I will repay," says the Lord.
20)Therefore," If your enemy is hungry, feed him; If he is thursty, give him a drink; For in so doing you will heap coals of fire on his head.
21) Do not be overcome with evil, but overcome evil with good.
4) Pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you;
After being bruised, wounded, crucified, Jesus said, "Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they do."
And they stoned Stephen as he was calling on God and saying, " Lord Jesus, receive my spirit." Then he knelt down and cried out with a load voice, " Lord, do not charge them with this sin."Prayers being offered for those persecutors, for those who spitefully use you, at the time of those actions have a more powerful effect on your situation,as a child of God,our heavenly Father. Jesus could've called ten thousand angles.Stephens load cry wasn't for God to save him from this dreadful death, but a cry of compassion for his persecutors.This resulted in Saul's salvation. God heard Stephens cry for Saul, for he was one of the persecutors.
