New Day Encouragement
When Adam and Eve committed an act of disobedience, they were deceived by a different truth to that of their own truth. That resulted in them being alienated from God. Ties to God has been severed. They were cast out of the Garden of Eden, which means, they were no longer in relationship with God, they were no longer in the presence of God. This signify a brokenness.
Ever since God has been restoring that relationship, yet mankind has been rebellion and still is to this very day.
Gods plan for the restoration of that relationship culminated in Jesus's death on the cross, resurrection from the grave and ascension into heaven.
Through Jesus Christ God has reconciled us to Himself. Christ died for all so that we should not live for ourselves, but for Him who died for us and rose again.
We are being made new creations in Jesus Christ. The old has gone, passed - the disobedience of Adam - which had to happen for the relationship of God with mankind to be renewed.1 Corinthians 5 vs 17 ;
New, kainos ( kahee- noss): Unused, fresh, novel. The Word kainos means "new" in regard to form and quality, rather than in reference to time, a thought conveyed by neos. It is one of the most wonderful and transforming truths of the Bible that for everyone who has ever wanted to start all over again in life, Jesus Christ gives them that opportunity.
No matter what you've done in the past or who you may have been, when you accept Jesus Christ, your past is totally forgiven and you become a brand-new person with a totally new identity in Him.
It doesn't matter what you were in the past. You could have been a failure, a loser, a drunkard, sexually immoral, or addicted to any number of things. However, once you have received Jesus Christ into your life, you are a brand- new creation in Jesus Christ. You now find your identity in Christ and in His Word. You are a brand-new person fully equipped to live a victorious life.
