A delegate for Donald Trump from Charles County, Maryland was indicted this week on charges related to illegal transport of explosives, possession of a machine gun and child pornography.
In a press release on Thursday, the U.S. Department of Justice said that ATF agents began investigating 30-year-old Caleb Andrew Bailey after postal inspectors discovered a package with .50 caliber cartridges with M48A1 incendiary projectiles and other ammunition with explosive projectiles.
On May 5, law enforcement executed a search warrant “at adjoining properties associated with Bailey, including his residence, and seized a machine gun,” according to the statement.
Court documents allege that Bailey also used a minor to produce child pornography, and that child pornography was found in his possession.
Bailey faces over 50 years in prison if found guilty of all charges.
The Maryland Board of Election currently lists Bailey as a delegate for Donald Trump.
