Young Turks hosts Jim Iadarola and Jimmy Dore produced video on Wednesday showing the unidentified man who hit a teenager in the face with pepper spray in Janesville, Wisconsin outside a Donald Trump campaign rally.
“Like a classic Trump supporter,” Iadarola said. “They want the violence, but ‘No, no, nothing should happen to me afterwards.”
“I’m gonna guess if that guy [who] pepper-sprayed her was black, they would have arrested him,” Dore added.
The video was filmed from behind the altercation involving the teen, who was protesting the event. Police initially described her as being 19 years old, but multiple outlets have since reported that she is acually 15.
WISN-TV reported that authorities received photos of the man on Wednesday, and are asking the public for help identifying him. Police are also looking for the person who groped the girl.
He can be seen in the video wearing a red baseball cap bearinTrump’s campaign slogan, “Make America Great Again” and standing just behind an older man accused by the teen of groping her. As the argument between the teen and the older man continues, the “vulture,” as Iadarola called him, leans in and sprays her, then walks away from the scene.
“That guy is training for something, or he’s a student,” Iadarola said. “That guy needs to be identified. That is a guy who goes to Trump rallies so he can injure a 15-year-old girl.”
