1 Kings 3 ->
We are told that Solomon loved the Lord and that he walked according the ways of his father David. It is because of the love that he had for the Lord that he made sacrifices. It says that apart from doing everything his father did, he burnt incense in the high places. Gibeon was the high place where he made these sacrifices. At this high place God appeared to Him in a dream, and told him, " Ask! What shall I give you?"
