US President Barack Obama (R) pardons Tater the National Thanksgiving Turkey during a ceremony in the Rose Garden of the White House in Washington, DC, USA, 23 November 2016, as president of the National Turkey Federation John Reicks (C) looks on. President Obama, celebrating the 69th anniversary of the National Thanksgiving Turkey presentation, pardoned Tater and its alternate Tot, both 18-week old, 40-pound turkeys.
