In this verse we are distinctly reminded that our ways needs cleansing. Although it singles out the young man, it does include everybody else.
Think for yourselves how our way is far off according to the Word of God. The answer comes to us very clearly, "by taking heed to Your Word." The Word of God is highlighted here as the only and ultimate answer.
When we allow the Word of God to have pre-eminence in our lives our way will most definitely be cleansed.

This is an awesome passage of scripture for guidance in our lives, and it is important, for the Word of God is light to our feet and a lamp to our pathway. God gave us His Word so that we can draw near, close to Him.
