You Who Love The Lord

You who love the Lord , hate evil! He preserves the souls of His saints; He delivers them out of the hand of the wicked.
Psalms 97 NKJV

The emphasis and the focus here, is placed on, " those who love the Lord." Which gives the idea that, if you do not love the Lord, you are excluded. The question then is, who are those who love the Lord? What qualify a person to have that status? What are the requirements to be a claimant of one who love the Lord?
This reminds me of all the men who laid claim on being the Messiah of the Jewish people. Well, the things they have done and the position they held in the Jewish community had been enough for them to lay claim to being the Messiah. Even up to today, we still get many Jews aspiring to be the Messiah, in that they are still waiting for the Messiah.
Now what are the requirements? To be counted as one who love the Lord.
Mark 12 vs 30;
And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength, this is the first commandment. A commandment is a commandment to those who do not live a life of love towards the Lord. But to those who love the Lord, it is the will of God the Father for their lives. It is no more a commandment but a lifestyle that is pleasing to God.
It is too long that the enemy is allowed to keep us people in bondage of having to obey certain rules and regulations in order to be accepted in a certain community. We are even threatened with life's uncertainties when we do not agree or adhere to these creeds and ordinances. Following after these creeds and ordinances is in no way loving the Lord. Also, is it not hating evil.
Loving the Lord is a unit. It cannot be separated. The same with hating evil. It is a unit and cannot be separated, and the two is in complete contrast to each other. That is why we are to be decisive and determine to make a complete and final analysis as to our choice of loving the Lord. You see, loving the Lord with all our heart, with all our soul, with all our mind, and with all our strength is a sure sign that we hate evil. Don't go looking for any other signs.
With loving the Lord is packaged:
He preserve the souls of His saints;
Psalm 31 vs 23;
Oh, love the Lord, all you His saints! For the Lord preserves the faithful,
And fully repays the proud person.
Psalm 145 vs 20;
The Lord preserves all who love Him,
But all the wicked He will destroy.
Proverbs 2 vs 8;
He guards the path of justice,
And preserves the way of His saints.
He delivers them out of the hand of the wicked;
Psalm 37 vs 40;
And the Lord shall help them and deliver them; He shall
deliver them from the wicked. and safe them,
Because they trust in Him.
Jeremiah 15 vs 21;
"I will deliver them from the hand of the wicked,
And I will redeem them from the grip of the terrible."
Daniel 3 vs 28;
Nebuchadnezzar spoke, saying,"Blessed be the God of Sadrach, Meshach, and AbedNego, who sent His Angel and delivered His servants who trusted in Him, and they have frustrated the king's word, and yielded their bodies, that they should not serve nor worship any god except their own God.
