Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.
I John 4 [NKJV]
I John 4 [NKJV]
Beloved is an indication of someone who have had an encounter with a person and started a relationship with that person. Therefore the freedom of calling someone to be in such close proximity. Having an up close, personal and love relationship.
John was aware of having such a relationship, because he had one with Jesus. He referred to himself by mentioning the disciple whom Jesus loved. John 21 vs 7, in recognising the Lord after His death and resurrection, and at the instructions of the Lord, the miraculous haul of fish.
Encouraging,"That We Also Ought to," Indicate;
1) An obligation or duty; Love beyond what we think is good enough.
2) Advisability or prudence; Being heedful to lookout for others than for self.
3) Desirability; A greater desire so that others know how much God loves them.
4) Probability or likelihood; Others to also experience the true love of God and to love one another.
Love One Another;
Is a cry from God, so much so, that God had to turn it into a commandment, and that, because of man's disobedience. Which was also man's own undoing of himself. We need to come to grips with Gods love, mind, plan and His heart. Because, first of all, start to love God and nothing is a commandment but a willingness of your own heart. You then reverse the commandment to a status of Gods will for your life.
It is Gods will that none should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
