Therefore humble yourself under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time.
Humble yourself. That He may l exalt you, at the proper time.
Another spiritual principle, in the same category as the physical principle of, "what goes up must come down".
When you exalt yourself. You may be brought down low, at the proper time.
God is not mocked, whatever a man sows that shall he also reap.
In the previous verse it states that, "God resists the proud, but give grace to the humble."
It is by grace ( Gods unmerited favour) that we can be humble.
