BreakThruKey- Faith or Worry?

Cast your burden on the Lord , And He shall sustain you; He shall never permit the righteous to be moved.
Psalms 55 [NKJV]

It is not hard work that causes mental, spiritual, and ultimately physical breakdown- it's worry. Work that is free of worry is stimulating and enjoyable. It gives substance to your daily life, and also confers a feeling of belonging to the human family and contributing to the well being of the human race.

It is worry that exhaust us, because if we worry we will be unable to achieve anything constructive. Worry alienates the willing worker from his rightful inheritance and the true purpose and satisfaction of  life. How ever, the greatest tragedy of worry is that it estrange us from God. Faith and worry cannot cohabit in the same life. If your faith is a living reality there will be no space for worry, but if worry is the dominant force, faith will wither and die.

Worry can so easily become an indulgent habit. Only a radical adjustment  of our thought patterns can free us from worry. Having a practical faith in the omnipotence of God and His purpose for our lives is essential. The conviction that all things work together for the good of those who love God should be the dominant thought in our minds. It of importance that we renew our minds daily with the word of God. then we will experience the renewing power of our living faith, which is the death-knell of worry.

It is the only way that worry can be dealt with. Feeding worry will definitely and ultimately bring destruction, which is one of the enemies characters. As children of the most high God we are certain that He cares about and for us.

Cast your burdens on the Lord;
Psalm 37 vs 5
Commit your way to the Lord,
Trust also in Him,
And He will bring it to pass.
1 Peter 5 vs 7
Casting all your cares on Him, for He cares for you.
If we are burdened down and depressed with many worries, there is a way out. David tells us to cast our burdens on the Lord; we are not designed to be "beast of burden." The enemy wants us to so weighed down with problems that we literally collapse with exhaustion. God on the other hand
, wants us to put the weight of our burdens on Him and let Him carry our problems for us.

And He shall sustain you;
Sustain; chul(kool) Immediately after telling us to cast our burdens on the Lord, David promises us that,"He shall sustain you." God promises us to hold us in His strength. The word chul means, "to maintain," "to nourish," "to provide food," "to bear," "to uphold," "to protect," "to support," "to defend," "to supply the needs necessary for living." God does all these things for His people.
Occurring nearly 40 times, chul primarily suggest "to measure out provision for food," That is, "to provide." For example, Joseph pledged to provide for his brothers and their little children.
(Gen. 25 vs 21) In the presence reference, God will support, nourish, and provide for any person who acknowledges that the burden of cruel treatment is one that only the Lord can handle.
