Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, clamor, and evil speaking be put away from you, with all malice. Vs. 32) And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you.
Ephesians 4 :31-32[NKJV]
Experience God's forgiveness, and know how to forgive.
Ephesians 4 :31-32[NKJV]
Experience God's forgiveness, and know how to forgive.
All Bitterness, Wrath, Anger, Clamor, Evil Speaking, Malice. What a Package!
Romans 3 vs 14: Whose mouth is full of cursing and bitterness.
Colossians 3 vs 8: But now you yourself are to put off all these:
Anger, Wrath, Malice, Blasphemy, Filthy Language[bitterness and cursing]. What a stunning similarity!
The focus is much on putting these things away from you, or put it all off. This package are not to be a part of you, comes the call. When we carry this package around with us, then it's impossible to forgive, these things becomes a stumbling block for ourselves. None of us wants to live an unforgiving lifestyle. As I said, the call comes to us, to put it away, or put it all off. All of it, you will have to do it, do not wait on Holy Spirit to do it for you. Decide for yourself, to put it all off, and not just some of it, but all of it.
Titus 3 vs 3-5: For we ourselves were once foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving various lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful and hating one another. But When the kindness and the love of God our Saviour toward man appeared, not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of Holy Spirit.
Regeneration and Renewing
Titus 3 vs 5; Renewing
anakainosis[an-ak-ahee-no-sis];A combination of ana, "again," and kainos,"new." The word suggest a renovation, restoration, transformation, and a change of heart and life. In Romans 12 vs 2: It indicates a complete change for the better, an adjustment of one's moral and spiritual vision. Here it stresses the work of Holy Spirit in transforming the life. when we accept Christ into our lives, Holy Spirit begins a renewing work. He takes our old carnal and sinful nature, along with it's lusts and desires and starts to transform us into brand new people who wants to do Gods will from our hearts.
When Gods forgiveness "kicks in," I use the term kicks in, because there is nothing else that can have such a massive impact on a person like Gods forgiveness. I have had experiences of, "when drunkenness kicks in." I tell you today, there is no pleasure and joy, but foolishness, and regret. Gods forgiveness is paired with; Vs.32) being kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another.
Mark 11 vs 25: And whenever you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgive him, that your Father in heaven may also forgive you your trespasses.
Luke 6 vs 37: "Judge not, and you shall not be judged. Condamn not, and you shall not be condamned. Forgive and you will be forgiven.
EVEN AS GOD IN CHRIST FORGAVE YOU.
