PEER PRESSURE;


                                                       Definition:
Peers are people of equal standing with one another,in age,rank or status.Age is often a determining factor in establishing what is commonly known as "peer pressure groups."Peer pressure, therefore,is the demand to conform to the prevailing positive or negative attitudes or actions of one's peer group.

We had a look some time ago and pointed how God cautions us not to yield to negative peer pressure.This time we'll check on how it is not necessarily right if everybody else agree on doing things.

2 Just Because Everybody Else is Doing Something,Doesn't Make it Necessarily Right. 

Genesis 6 vs 12;
1 Peter 3 vs 20                      [In Noah's day,the majority were dead wrong,so Noah had to buck the                                                    tide to in order to survive.] And God looked upon the earth,and,behold                                                  it was corrupt;for all flesh had corrupted his way upon the earth,1Peter 3:20                                                                                Once the long suffering of God waited in the days of Noah,while the ark                                                was a preparing,wherein few,that is eight souls were saved by water.

Isaiah 1 vs 9                         [Often true believers are a small minority.]Except the Lord of Host have                                               left unto us a very small remnant,we should have been as Sodom,and we                                               should have been like unto Gomorrah.[Sodom and Gomorrah were two                                                 cities God destroyed because of their wickedness.]

Matthew 7 vs 13-14            Enter ye at the strait gate:for wide is the gate ,and broad is the way, that                                                lead to destruction,and many there be which go in there at.vs 14 Because                                                  strait is the gate,and narrow is the way,which leadeth unto life,and few                                                  there be that find it.

Matthew 22 vs 14              For many are called, but few are chosen.

Philippians 2 vs 15           That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke,                                              in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as                                                light in the world
