CYBER CELLAR

The next step on our educational journey is one of the world's favourite noble grapes Chardonnay. An extremely versatile cultivar with an affinity to being oaked, extended lees contact or in a fresh unwooded style. A major component to the best sparkling wines or featuring in innovative blends, today we showcase a wide range form different regions and countries beginning with the crisp, clean style from Asara and a new Durbanville producer focusing on Chardonnay.
Above we have extremely limited stocks of last year's top award winners involving Michelangelo and the esteemed wine Platter's Guide which had an unprecedented ten 5 star Chardonnay winners in the 2016 guide, the most of any cultivar. Below is our perennial favourites and top sellers.

A newly released vintage from Darling Cellars sees the 'Blanc De Blancs' Brut MCC which translates to 'White from White' dry sparkling which is traditionally and in this case made from exclusively from Chardonnay. Alongside we have the first certified Methode Ancestral wine in SA from Vondeling, a very hands on ancient method of production when making a sparkling wine which has no dosage added, only topped up with previous vintage Rurale. Below we feature our favourite Chardonnay's from France and New Zealand.
